Business Intelligence Lead - Web Analytics

kikin is searching for a Business Intelligence / OLAP Engineer to build, from scratch, and manage kikin's multi-TB data warehouse as well as the BI access layer.

• Designing and building data an ETL layer to retrieve log file data and save in a backend database cluster
• Provide accurate business metrics and deliver custom data sets to our research, Sales, and product management groups
• Requirements gathering, working with very large data sets in a data warehouse federation environment
• Daily maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, data recovery
• Present and future capacity planning for all of the resources required of the analytic systems being managed

• Strong ETL experience and overall database experience is a must
• Experience designing data warehouses
• Web data analysis a plus
• Experience developing applications that work with heterogeneous data sources, extracting data
• Create complex reports (ex: drill down reports) using cursors and multi-dimensional objects.
• Develop complex SQL queries (ex: using various joins and sub- queries) and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop / Hive / Jasper / Pentaho a plus
• OLAP cubes and MDX Queries experience a plus

Front End Engineer / JavaScript Expert

Kikin is searching for a Front End Engineer to work on the front-end logic of the kikin application and website utilizing advanced JavaScript, jQuery, and related technologies. kikin enriches and personalizes the Internet experience for web users without the need to change browsing behavior.

• Participate in developing advanced Javascript applications to personalize web pages
• Collaborate with product and dev team to establish functionality and design specs
• Develop templates and documentation for rapid customization and integration
• Provide feedback, analysis, testing and debugging

IT Operations / System Administrator

kikin is searching for a System Administrator to help enhance our next-generation internet application and services. This is an opportunity to help revolutionize online navigation, services, and media as we know it.

We are looking for expertise in networks, servers, cloud computing and IT administration.

The successful candidate will be familiar with information retrieval, data mining, relationship mapping, or collaborative filtering, and will believe that we can deliver a variety of rich, relevant data to internet users in a faster, smarter format than we have today.

• Install, Deploy, Configure, Test, Monitor, Troubleshoot and Fix production systems and applications, and also support custom applications.
• First and Second level of support to respond, troubleshoot and fix applications and systems as needed.
• Imaging, configuration and deployment for end user desktops and laptops, desktops along with blackberry and pda devices
• Willing to work early or late and on weekends as the work demands
• NOC monitoring and pager duty
• Trend analysis of operational metrics (performance, failures) to proactively identify system problems and opportunities for improvement to products and processes
